Madeenah & Mayeesha’s Baby Shower at Aranda Country Club | Baby Shower Photography
What’s better than having a new baby daughter? Well, two of them of course! Meet Madeenah & Mayeesha, twin sisters!
They celebrated their baby shower at Aranda Country Club. It was a relaxing afternoon where friends and family got together.
Sleeping soundly in their crib.
The suspended crib makes for a nice backdrop. I love how the curtains frame the photos and help draw your eyes towards the twins.
Aren’t the decorations lovely? Simple, elegant and adorned in pink.
Pink is the order of the day! A family photo–it’s all smiles from the proud new parents.
They food was all prepared by the family. Here, they are setting up the dessert table. My style is observational and I try to capture the things that goes on at the event. It’s all part of the story.
Everyone wants a go at carrying the new babies!
It’s the littlest of moments and gestures which are the most meaningful. To you, it may just look like a father feeding his daughter. The daughter, years from now, will see so much more.
A parent’s love for their child is such a powerful thing, and it is my goal to capture these emotions.
Enjoying a quiet moment with mummy. Very often, at events like these, parents are too busy entertaining guests to spend time with their child. I like events which are more relaxed and there’s lots of mingling and people interacting with each other. Those are great photo opportunities, especially for capturing genuine and unposed moments.
As photographers, we often say we “tell stories”. But what exactly do we mean by that? I think the strongest images are the ones that are able to tell a story within a single frame. This photo is meaningful because not only does it capture a decisive moment, the father kissing his daughter. It also shows a reaction, the mother smiling at the act. It’s photos like these I’d love my clients to receive.
