Ian + Ruth | Solemnization Photography at Goodwood Park Hotel
Ian and Ruth held their solemnisation at Goodwood Park Hotel.
“It’s more like a family reunion” as the couple’s relatives flew in from overseas to attend the wedding. Having not seen each other for a long time as the bride was working in Singapore, it really was like a family get-together.

I love capturing emotional expressions and moments up-close. I think it makes it feel like you’re right there.
We had some time to spare for a few photos at the location. When shooting at locations like these, it usually involves waiting for people walking by to clear the area, or asking them nicely to move. Then it’s on to getting the couple to walk down the stairs a few times and getting as many shots. Oh, and fingers crossed that at least one turns out ok.
With some photos, it’s more about the location. The beautiful arch at Goodwood Park Hotel frames the photo of the couple kissing.
Other times, it’s about allowing placing the couple in an environment and allowing them to create their own moments.

A toast to the couple.
